What Is A & B Service?
Mercedes Benz and BMW vehicles require routine inspections and service to maintain quality, safety, and peak performance for years. Since 2009, Mercedes Benz and BMW vehicles have received two primary types of services at differing intervals. A and B service applies to all years and models. The two service types are:
- Service A: Service A is scheduled for every 10,000 driven or once yearly. Service A covers all checks and replacements as well as cabin filtration replacement and brake fluid exchange.
- Service B: Service B occurs every 20,000 miles or every two years. Service B covers all checks, replacements, and exchanges.
